Deutsche Bank has opened a representative office in Sofia, Bulgaria and appointed Pavel Ezekiev as its official company representative.
The office will focus on consolidating its existing corporate, investment and transaction banking business and supporting the country’s growing infrastructure, real estate and private wealth management needs.
Mr Ezekiev was previously executive director of the InvestBulgaria Agency and has also worked for the deputy prime minister and minister of the economy in Bulgaria. He also has investment banking experience, having worked for Deutsche Bank in London from 1998 to 2002.
