Deutsche Bank has appointed John Utendahl as vice chairman of Americas Holding. In his new role, Mr Utendahl will focus primarily on cultivating and enhancing major strategic client relationships for the firm.

Mr Utendahl will be based in New York as part of the office of the CEO of Deutsche Bank Americas, Seth Waugh. He also will join the senior client team headed by Donna Milrod, managing director and head of strategy and oversight.

Mr Utendahl has nearly 30 years of experience on Wall Street, and for the past 18 years he has been chairman of the Utendahl organization, beginning in 1992 when he founded Utendahl Capital Partners (UCP).

Seth Waugh, CEO of Deutsche Bank Americas and a member of the bank’s group executive committee, said: “Mr Utendahl is a trailblazing entrepreneur who has earned the trust of countless clients across corporate America, so we are extremely pleased to welcome him to Deutsche Bank.”
