Deutsche Bank has hired three new executives for the newly formed Equity Capital Markets Execution Group in the Americas that will be comprised of two managing directors and a director. The new hires will oversee the execution of franchise business with support from origination in equity capital markets as well as corporate finance coverage teams.

Deutsche Bank said that Jay Coleman will join the as a managing director and head of Equity Capital Markets Execution, Americas. He joins from Barclays/Lehman, where he most recently served as global head of equity capital markets execution. He has more than 13 years of experience in capital markets.

Mark Schwartz will join the group as a managing director. He has been a director at Barclays/Lehman in the firm’s equity capital markets execution group for the past four years. Prior to that he was a lawyer at both Davis Polk and the SEC.

Ben Marsh will join as a director from Barclays/Lehman, where he was a director and head of the mergers & acquisitions conflicts group within the compliance department as well as previously holding an ECM execution role. He too practiced law at Davis Polk. Both Schwartz and Marsh will report to Mr Coleman.

Deutsche Bank added that all three individuals will join after a notice period and will be based in New York.
