Deutsche Bank Hires New MD For UK Corporate Broking

Deutsche Bank has appointed Andrew Thompson as a managing director of UK corporate broking, effective October 2010.

Mr Thompson will cover UK and Irish clients with a particular focus on the financial institutions sector.

Mr Thompson joins Deutsche Bank from Citi where he was a managing director in UK banking and broking. He has over 20 year of experience in corporate broking, having previously been at ABN Amro Hoare Govett.

Charles Wilkinson and Nick Bowers, co-heads of UK corporate broking at Deutsche Bank, said: “The addition of Andrew to the team will help us carry forward the strong momentum we have had in the first half of this year. We recently announced our 20th FTSE 100 corporate broking client and we see many opportunities to expand our client base as we continue to invest in our business.”
