Deutsche Bank has appointed Scott Lampard as head of global markets for Canada, to manage its sales and trading business in the region.

Mr Lampard will report to Jeffrey Mayer, head of global markets for North America and Paul Jurist, chief country officer for Canada. He will be based in Toronto.

Mr Lampard joins Deutsche Bank with 18 years of global capital markets experience. He joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he served as head of global markets in Asia and head of international capital markets in London. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at JP Morgan, most recently as managing director and head of public sector debt in London.
