Dawson James Securities, a brokerage and investment banking firm, has appointed Suzanne Skipper as a new managing director of Capital Markets.
Skipper has 18 years of experience in investment banking and capital markets. Most recently at Merriman Curhan Ford, she spent five years as head of Equity Capital Markets and as a voting member of the equity commitment committee.
Prior to joining Merriman Curhan Ford & Co in January 2005, she spent nine years in San Francisco as an investment banker for Banc of America Securities.
Skipper as a principal and execution officer in Equity Capital Markets, she worked on over 300 equity offerings, raising over $8.9bn in institutional capital for corporate clients.
Prior to her tenure at Banc of America, she interned with the Berkshire Hathaway Group in Nebraska, under the direction of the controller.
