CVB Financial (CVBF), a holding company for Citizens Business Bank, has appointed Raymond Vincent O’Brien as a director of CVBF and Citizens Business Bank.

Citizens Business Bank is the wholly owned banking subsidiary of CVB Financial.

Having begun his professional career in banking in 1979 with Chase Manhattan Bank, O’Brien moved to First Business Bank in 1983 and later left the banking profession and became CEO and owner of I.L. Walker, a Los Angeles-based manufacturing company in 1987.

Since 1987, O’Brien has owned and led several manufacturing companies.

O’Brien is currently the chief executive officer of Cal Plate, based in Artesia and was a founding director of American Business Bank in 1997 and served as a director till 2012.

Ontario based Citizens Business Bank, a $6.3bn financial services company, serves 40 cities with 42 Business Financial Centers, five Commercial Banking Centers and two trust office locations in the Inland Empire, Los Angeles County, Orange County and the Central Valley areas of California.
