Citigroup has launched a co-branded credit card with The Home Depot which will provide a cardmember incentive program through MasterCard where consumers earn two points for every dollar spent at the store.

Cardmembers will also earn 2,500 bonus points for their first purchase at the home improvement store, which is enough for a $25 gift card. The card will also earn consumers a point for every dollar spent at other locations where MasterCard is accepted. Reward options range from gift cards to travel and merchandise.

The cards include optional cash access through the worldwide Cirrus ATM network, and consumers will also have MasterCard zero liability protection in the US if their card is subject to loss, theft or fraud.

The Home Depot is pleased to offer our customers a chance to earn points for rewards while still receiving low rates and enjoying no annual fees, said Frank Blake, executive vice president for business development and corporate operations for The Home Depot. The MasterCard Rewards and Business Rewards products are the perfect addition to our existing credit financing options.
