Citibank India has expanded its branch network in India by opening a new branch premises in Pune, Maharashtra.

The new branch is expected to provide a range of products and services to Pune’s retail and institutional clients, including the bank’s wealth management platform Citigold.

Citibank has around 42 branches across 30 cities in India. In Maharashtra, the bank operates a total of 10 branches of which six branches are located in Mumbai and one each in Pune, Nashik, Akola and Nanded.

Citi South Asia CEO Shirish Apte said that he is delighted to dedicate the new branch in Pune that has Citigold Select Lounge.

“Citibank has a very long history in India and India remains one of the priority markets for the company. As such, we will continue to make significant investments in India across a wide range of businesses and services and our customers and clients in Pune should see the benefits of these investments,” Apte said.
