Citibank Greece has significantly expanded its network with the establishment of six new branches in Greece over the first six months of 2007, as part of its organic growth strategy.

With the addition of the six new branches, Citibank now has 74 branches across the country, including in the Pefki, Keratsini, Nea Philadelphia, Pallini and Melissia areas of Athens, and the island of Mykonos.

Citibank’s distribution head, Stelios Pirpinias, said: Taking into consideration the changing demands of our customers and the growth of local markets, the opening of our six new branches is very important for the quality service for our customers in the selected areas.

Mr Pirpinias added that the opening of the six branches represented the first phase of the group’s plan to open 17 branches during 2007, to help reach its target of 85 branches by the end of the year.
