Citibank in collaboration with American Express has rolled out the new Citibank Cash Back American Express Card, which provides cash rebates to cardholders on all spending, mainly in dining and daily shopping.

The card is Citibank’s first cash back product on the American Express network in Hong Kong, according to the global bank.

Automatically crediting cash rebates to the card account, the card gives cardholders a 2% cash discount on dining transactions and a 1% cash reimbursement for other spending for the full year.

Citibank global consumer banking cards and unsecured lending head Maggie Ng said that the company concentrates to launch new products and services to fulfill the demand of various consumer groups according to their spending behaviors and needs.

Additional benefits offered by the card include American Express new hotels program, shipping services for US online purchases, and global assist hotline for speedy solutions of emergency situations abroad.

Managing approximately 200 million customer accounts, Citi does business in more than 160 nations and regions, offering consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.
