Citi Cards, a provider of cards, payment and mobile technologies, has launched Citi Shopper, MasterCard PayPass stickers and PayPass locator application, on four mobile platforms iPhone, Blackberry, Android and WAP, to help US-based customers save time and money.

Citi Shopper, a new beta version location-based mobile application, leverages the Slifter technology built and managed by GPShopper, a provider of local mobile shopping.

Citi Shopper is expected to deliver local offers and deals on products from electronics to apparel; compares prices; provides maps to nearby retailers; as well as reminds Citi cardmembers of offers and benefits specific to their Citi credit cards.

MasterCard PayPass stickers, available for a majority of Citi credit cards at, can be affixed to the back of mobile devices and used to make contactless payments at approximately 230,000 merchants that accept PayPass transactions.

PayPass locator application searches and maps the nearest PayPass merchants.
