Citi Cards has launched Citi ThankYou Cards, a new series of credit cards with enhanced features and benefits enabling cardmembers to earn more as members of its ThankYou Rewards program.
The newly introduced cards are Citi ThankYou card, Citi ThankYou Preferred card, Citi ThankYou Premier card and Citi ThankYou Prestige card.
Citigroup said that with these new cards the customers will have ability to choose a card level that best suits their needs — whether it means a card that provides additional point earning opportunities in select categories, no expiration of points at all, no fee for foreign purchase transactions and even complimentary companion travel.
The bank added that irrespective of the preferred card by customers, each card level offers ways for customers to earn bonus points and there will no limit to the number of points customers can earn and the cardmembers can redeem their points at thankyou.com, Citi’s ThankYou Rewards program.
Through ThankYou Rewards program, card members can get the rewards from travel, brand-name goods, and gift cards at favorite stores, to charitable donations. The Reward options start at as low as 100 points. If members don’t find what they are looking for in the ThankYou Rewards collection, they can create their own reward through the exclusive Your Wish Fulfilled service.
Citi’s North America Credit Card division executive vice president Terry O’Neil said as part of the launch, some of the existing rewards cards will be re-named into the ThankYou Card suite to make the enhanced features and benefits of the new cards available to existing customers too.
"The cards are a great addition to Citi’s suite of rewards-based credit cards. No matter what rewards benefit consumers are interested in — whether they are looking to earn ThankYou Points, Travel Rewards, or Cash-Back — we have a variety of credit card options to meet their needs," O’Neil said.
