Citibank Europe has launched a new service Citi global banking, utilizing Citibank's wide international network of branches to offer more convenient banking between the Czech Republic and foreign countries for Citi clients.
According to the US lender, the new service empowers clients to take care of all necessary administration related works including opening a bank account with Citibank in foreign countries before leaving their place of residence, at no extra cost.
It also provides facility to people who are planning to settle in Czech Republic to open a new bank account even before reaching the country.
Additionally, Citigold clients can automatically use their account and related services overseas if they meet the requirements for the Citigold program.
Citibank retail bank head Veronika Španárová said the bank believes that Citi Global Banking will be appreciated by all Citi clients who regularly travel abroad, for work or privately, as well as by expats living long-term in the Czech Republic.
"Launching the Citi Global Banking service is in-line with our long term strategy to focus on customer care and convenience," Španárová added.
Citi Global Banking facilitates its clients to open and manage a bank account with Citibank in any of the 30 countries where the service is offered through the Global Support Centers.
