China Renaissance Securities has appointed Neil Rogers as head of equities, Asia, who will manage China Renaissance's Equities sales, trading and distribution capabilities in Asia and will be based in the Firm's Hong Kong office.

According to Chinese wealth manager, Rogers will report to Frank Au, president of China Renaissance Securities.

Prior to accepting role, Rogers was working with Knight Capital Asia where he launched and built out a research and sales group.

Before joining Knight, Rogers served as the head of MainFirst Securities Asia, where he has overseen the build out of MainFirst’s Equities platform in Asia.

Frank Au said, "His unique combination of experience in the Asian Equities business and proven track record of building out successful Equities teams makes him an ideal leader for our Equities business."
