According to a media report, the card issuer Capital One is set to relaunch its 15-month 0% balance transfer offer on its Platinum card in the UK.
<p>The news site This Is Money reports that the relaunch of the card bucks the trend of British card issuers clamping down on interest-free offers as they battle a rising tide of bad debt.<br /><br />The Capital One Platinum card offers 0% interest on balance transfers until August 2007, although it does include a 2% fee. The 15-month offer was previously withdrawn from general sale by Capital One some five months ago, the report says.<br /><br />Most UK card issuers are currently offering interest free deals lasting around six months.</p>
