BNY Mellon Asset Management has appointed Ryan Rajkumar as new head of investment solutions in its UK Wholesale sales team.
Reporting to Scott Goodsir, managing director of UK Wholesale at BNY Mellon Asset Management, Mr Rajkumar will be responsible primarily for managing client relationships with life company head offices and rating agencies based in the UK.
Mr Rajkumar is joining BNY Mellon Asset Management from Quercus Investments, a third party investment fund sales operation which he established in February 2009.
Prior to setting up Quercus, Mr Rajkumar was a sales director at Fidelity International from October 2007 to January 2009. Other positions held during a career that spans more than 17 years in the asset management industry include investment sales director at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.
