BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking has appointed Edward Speal as head of global equities and commodity derivatives (GECD), Lionel Crassier as head of equities and Dan Cozine as head of structured finance, for Americas.

The bank has also appointed Chris Innes as head of equity flow and financing sales also for the Americas.

Speal, who currently heads the structured finance business which includes export, project, energy and commodity finance, has been associated with BNP Paribas for over 20 years. Prior to this role which he assumed in 2008, he spent three years as head of territory in Canada.

Crassier, who has been with BNP Paribas for over 15 years, has held senior positions in Tokyo and Paris before moving to New York as head of equity derivatives trading and structuring in 2007. He has been running the GECD platform in the Americas since 2009.

Cozine returns to New York to run the structured finance business after spending two years in London as head of loan syndications and trading for EMEA. Prior to that, he held positions as co-head of energy and commodities structured debt and head of project finance in the Americas.

Innes has joined as head of equity flow and financing sales, Americas, including cash equity. He managed the Bank of America EQD and finance platform as well as his own hedge fund and equity brokerage firm.
