BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking has appointed Matt Salvner as head of fixed income solutions for the Americas. He will report to Kip Testwuide, head of origination and distribution of fixed income products, Americas.

Mr Salvner joined BNP Paribas from Morgan Stanley where he was head of capital markets products & solutions. Prior to his seven years with Morgan Stanley, he spent seven years on the credit derivative and structured finance teams at JP Morgan. He will report to Kip Testwuide, head of Origination and Distribution of Fixed Income Products, Americas.

BNP Paribas’ Fixed Income Solutions Group is comprised of the insurance solutions Group, bank solutions group, corporate solutions group and the advisory team, all of which work with clients across the fixed income products with a focus on managing risk, liquidity and capital issues arising on both the asset and liability sides of the balance sheet.

Mr Testwuide said: “The recent appointments to our fixed income business confirm our continued commitment to enhancing this leading platform and we are excited to have Matt on board to help with these efforts. Matt will lead the solutions team working closely with the credit and FX / rates structuring teams, and we are confident his expertise will help provide valuable products and advice to our clients.”
