BNP Paribas Securities Services (BNP Paribas) has launched Planetshares, a new web-based solution providing clients with a full range of tools to manage their employees' global compensation and benefits plans.
As corporations continue to globalise whilst local tax regulations require closer monitoring of taxable events, the comprehensive Planetshares solution enables companies to track employee shareholders’ personal and professional mobility. It also provides advanced tools to calculate withholding tax cross-referenced with employees’ mobility, said the company.
Planetshares is a multi-lingual and interactive modular website, that clients can customise with their own logo and style.
BNP Paribas Securities Services head of corporate and issuers Pascal Pommier said mobility and capital participation are key to employee retention for any corporation. Managing this is becoming evermore challenging for human resources with the increasing globalisation of companies and their workforces.
"Planetshares gives our clients the efficient and accurate tools they need to track their employees’ mobility and comply with international tax regimes," Pommier said.
