BMO Bank of Montreal has named Laura Charlton as new vice-president of Nova Scotia District, Canada.

Ms Charlton will assume leadership of a team of over 285 professionals who serve customers through BMO’s network of more than 25 branches in Nova Scotia.

Ms Charlton is a Nova Scotia native. She has five years experience with BMO Bank of Montreal, including the past two years as director of corporate finance for Atlantic division.

Steve Murphy, senior vice-president of Atlantic provinces division at BMO Bank of Montreal, said: “Throughout her career, Laura has demonstrated a commitment and passion to customer service and business development while leading her teams to superior performance.
