Canada based BMO Bank of Montreal has named Carolyn Booth as its new senior vice president, Atlantic provinces division, to oversee the bank's personal and commercial business in Atlantic Canada.

In her new role, she will lead 860 professionals who serve customers throughout BMO’s network of 85 branches in Atlantic Canada, including 30 in Nova Scotia.

During her 20 years of association with the bank, she worked in many leading positions and currently was working as district vice president for eastern Ontario, based in Ottawa.

She has also served as BMO vice president for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, Atlantic Canada from 2007 to late 2009.

As of 31 July 2012, the bank had $542bn in total assets and offers a number of retail banking, wealth management and investment banking products and solutions.
