BGL BNP Paribas has introduced new personalized and intelligent digital assistant, Genius, for the day-to-day management of accounts.

Genius uses an artificial intelligence algorithm to send personalized messages in the form of advice, alerts and recommendations, helping client to better manage their budget and monitor spending.

The new personalized and intelligent digital assistant has been developed in collaboration with FinTech Personetics.

Genius holds capacity to analyze trends in client spending, classifying purchases and payments made, as well as alerts clients on unusual transactions or cash flow problems.

The new digital assistant will also provide tips on smart banking behavior to the customers.

Genius is a self-learning service, which adapts its messages based on ratings given by users. It is a secure service available by default in the web banking app for smartphones at no additional cost and can be disabled at any time.

BGL BNP Paribas executive committee chairman and BNP Paribas Group Luxembourg country head Geoffroy Bazin said: that “Genius is one of a range of innovative services we will be launching in 2019.

“Digitisation and artificial intelligence open the door to countless opportunities to enhance and personalise our products and services, thus enabling us to transition into a bank that looks after the financial well-being of its clients by offering them tailored solutions that are fully adapted to their unique circumstances, both now and in the future”.

In Luxembourg, BNP Paribas supports its individual customers with ay-to-day transactions, loans, investments, online financial investments and bancassurance services.

For professional and institutional clients, the bank offers financing, vehicle hire, property, securities services and currency-cash management services. Its private banking services include asset management, financial advice and financing.

The private bank of BGL BNP Paribas offers various services, including investment advice, discretionary management, wealth engineering and financial planning, financing and daily banking services.

In addition, BNP Paribas offers a range of life insurance solutions, which will meet the specific requirements of each client.
