Bermuda Commercial Bank (BCB) has selected Misys BankFusion Universal Banking platform from UK-based application software and services company Misys, to enhance its quality of service.

According to Misys, its platform will provide BCB with the flexibility to add new products and processes. It can integrate seamlessly with other systems and services. It will also reduce BCB’s hardware, software, deployment and operational costs.

Misys BankFusion Universal Banking will provide a migration path from Bankmaster which minimizes the risk of the upgrade to the bank.

Horst Finkbeiner, COO of BCB, said: Real-time systems and fully automated and integrated operations are core to our business model. We expect that BankFusion will deliver the sort of integrated, robust solution that we require and allow our people to focus on our customers.

Rick Salk, sales director for the Americas at Misys, said: BCB has chosen BankFusion Universal Banking to ensure maximum flexibility and speed to market for new products and services. The new solution will provide BCB with the power to model business processes accurately and give the bank’s customers the reliability and convenience of banking anywhere in the world.
