Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays, has introduced Portfolio WebBench Live, a new web-based real-time equities trading analytics application.

Barclays said that the Portfolio WebBench Live was designed on its execution analytics toolkit Portfolio WebBench and has been remodeled to provide real-time execution monitoring, dynamic and customizable content, and session sharing capabilities.

According to the Barclays Capital, Portfolio WebBench Live offers real-time performance monitoring of single stock executions, as well as on the portfolio level. It allows the users to evaluate their trading performance against user-defined benchmarks and analyze slippage decomposition and execution venue breakdowns.

It also provides analytical reports for download online and live execution monitoring sessions to share among users through URL links and session sharing.

Brian Pomraning, head of equity analytics applications at Barclays Capital, said: “In dynamic markets, execution performance and cost are increasingly important considerations; Portfolio WebBench Live can enhance trading transparency for clients, giving them insights that will allow them to optimize their execution, and pinpoint and react to risk as their transactions unfold.”
