Bank of China New York branch has selected email security solutions from Proofpoint to improve anti-spam and anti-virus performance while also ensuring security and privacy of customer financial data.

Bank of China New York has deployed Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway appliance with complete suite of inbound email security and outbound data loss prevention features including the Proofpoint Regulatory Compliance and Proofpoint Encryption solutions.

Bank of China uses Proofpoint to block incoming spam and viruses, prevent exposure of private information and encrypt sensitive outbound emails to achieve compliance with data privacy regulations including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).

Morover, Proofpoint’s DLP and encryption features safeguard against the loss of critical customer data and other sensitive financial information.
