Bank Leumi USA (BLUSA), an FDIC-insured, full-service commercial bank, has opened a representative office in Herzliya Pituach, Israel.

Bank Leumi USA said Yaron Ben Horin, a banker with extensive experience in financial services in both Israel and the US, will be managing the new office.

Ben Horin has been with the Leumi Group for seven years. Most recently, he served as a senior private banker working with international clients in the Private Banking Division at BLUSA headquarters in New York.

Bank Leumi USA CEO Itzhak Eyal said BLUSA present a unique offering to its Israeli clients.

"While firmly grounded in our Israeli heritage and culture, we serve as an important bridge to the global economy, and the US markets in particular. We are confident that opening of the new representative office will allow BLUSA to significantly increase our market share among our customers that are active in the US," Eyal said.

Bank Leumi USA is the largest subsidiary of the worldwide Leumi Group, founded in 1902. BLUSA has operated in the US for 57 years.
