Baird, an international, employee-owned wealth management, capital markets, private equity and asset management firm, has opened a new wealth management office in Charleston, South Carolina, and added three financial advisors.
The new wealth management office will be led by Charles Knowlton, senior vice president, branch manager and financial advisor.
Knowlton will join Baird with 37 years of financial services industry experience. Previously, he has held advisor and branch management roles for firms including The Robinson Humphrey, Prudential Securities and Smith Barney.
Knowlton will be joined by Mildred Kitchell, director and financial advisor, and Nicholas Verano, The Kitchell Verano Group financial advisor. Sandra Gary will join as assistant vice president, administrative office manager.
With 40 years of combined industry experience, Kitchell and Verano specialize in creating wealth management strategies for high-net-worth families.
