Bahrain Islamic Bank (BIsB) has opened its first drive-in ATM at the Muharraq Club Fuelling Station, in Muharraq.

 

The bank plans to operate shortly a number of drive-in ATMs throughout Bahrain’s areas as part of its expansion plan.

 

Abdul Rahman Mohamed Turki, general manager of retail banking services in Bahrain Islamic Bank, said: This step comes as part of the bank’s efforts to expand its ATM network throughout the Kingdom. We have launched the first drive-in ATM in Muharraq to serve a large number of our customers in the surrounding areas. He further added that the bank is continuing his strategy for development of its services and products to its customers.

 

According to CPIfinancial, BIsB plans to operate drive-in ATMs throughout the island. Commenting on the features of the new ATMs, Turki said, as stated in CPIfinancial, BIsB is resolute to use the latest and most advanced ATMs which ensure total confidentiality and security for clients and customers.

 

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BlsB) was established in 1979 as the first Islamic commercial bank in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Bank has been steadily maintaining its position in the Islamic banking sector through adopting Islamic investment and financing products, supported by retail and corporate banking services. The bank operates under supervision and the regulatory framework of the Central Bank of Bahrain.
