Atrium Network, a provider of connectivity solutions for the financial community, has completed the migration of clients connected to Direct Edge, America’s latest stock exchange, using its low latency Exchange Ring.

Direct Edge has relocated from its previous location in Jersey City to its new location in Equinix NY4, Secaucus, New Jersey.

Atrium Network said it provides connectivity to both locations, which enabled migration from one location to another for clients who were already connected to Direct Edge.

The data centre migration coincided with Direct Edge’s launch of its trading system and its transition to stock exchange status.

Atrium Network CEO Emmanuel Carjat said that irrespective of changes at a venue-end, the company’s approach to providing ultra-lower latency connectivity allows customers to connect once and benefit from resilient, secure and flexible access to the global financial community.

“We continue to see an increase in demand for crossborder access to exchange venues; offering our customers greater access choice with the minimum head-ache is a key priority for us,” Carjat said.
