ANZ has joined hands with Bottomline Technologies to roll out ANZ Transactive – Mobile, a corporate banking solution to enable ANZ corporate clients to gain optimum visibility and control of their Australian and New Zealand cash management activities.

Commenting on the partnership with Bottomline to launch the mobile application, ANZ said that mobile technology is a suitable channel which has influenced the customers banking style, utilizing mobile devices and tablets for activities such as payments and authorization.

The solution has been developed to integrate with and perform as an extension of the ANZ Transactive online solution, which is powered by WebSeries, Bottomline’s global cash management platform and Velocedee’s mobile channel interface, enabling ANZ customers to carry out cross-border payments between Australia and New Zealand, claims ANZ.

Using the latest ANZ mobile tool through iPhone, iPad and iPod, clients can remotely monitor account balances, view current and prior day transactions, and approve or reject payments, the bank said.

ANZ payments & cash management, product & channel management head Anne Collard said by recognising that CFOs and Treasurers are increasingly spending more time on the go, the bank wanted to give its clients a fast, simple and convenient mobile banking experience that enables them to be as productive on the road as they are in the office.

"This is an exciting milestone for ANZ as we continue to develop innovative solutions to make it easier and quicker for our clients to manage their working capital inside and outside of the office, as well as interact with us as their transaction banking provider," Collard added.
