Abu Dhabi Investment House has announced that its Bahrain representative office will move to the Bahrain Financial Harbour, as part of an agreement that was signed recently.

The agreement was signed by Rashad Janahi, board member and managing director of Abu Dhabi Investment House (ADIH), and Omar El Mardi, managing director of the Bahrain Financial Harbour. ADIH will be based in the East Tower of the Financial Harbour and will complete its move before the end of 2008.

At the same time, an agreement was also signed with Emad Nisnas, chairman of Optima, an interior design company that was contracted to produce the interior design plans for the new office.

ADIH has started operations in 2005 and was set up by a group of investors from the region. It currently has representative offices in Bahrain and in Geneva, with plans to expand internationally. It offers services in private equity and real estate, corporate finance, wealth management, and investment placement.

Mr Janahi said: Our move to the Financial Harbour is to provide the right and professional atmosphere to our clients and employees. The space and hi-tech facilities that the Financial Harbour offers are very adequate. To be located at the most prestigious financial district in Bahrain is also crucial for our growth and positioning as a company that aims to serve with the highest standards.
