Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a UAE-based Islamic financial services group, has opened a new branch at Al Warqa, Dubai, marking the 57th branch in the UAE.
The ADIB said that the new branch will have a ladies banking section for their convenience. The expansion plan includes the renovation of branches, expansion of the branch network and ATMs.
The new branch will be led by Saif Mohamed Al Braiki.
ADIB Branches head Sameh Al Awadallah said that the new branch in Al Warqa’a will help the bank provide innovative and diverse Islamic banking services to more customers in the UAE.
“This new branch in Dubai is an important step for our growing network of branches. We are implementing an ambitious growth plan for this year to take ADIB closer to its customers all over the UAE,” Al Awadallah said.
“ADIB is on its way to open more branches during 2010 to enhance reach all over the UAE.”
