Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has expanded it branch network by opening a new branch in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Through new branches, ADIB aims to enhance local presence to keep pace with the growth of its customer base and their geographic distribution in the UAE.

According to the ADIB, with this new branch, the total number of bank’s local branches reached 61 across the UAE, and 14 in the Northern Emirates, seven of which are in the emirates of Sharjah. The new branch marks the fourth branch in the East Coast area.

The new ADIB branch will be headed by Ahmed Salem Al Zaabi, and the branch will offer to its customers through a UAE national team.

ADIB head of branches Sameh Al-Awadallah said that the branch expansion reflects the commitment to provide, Islamic financial services to customers.

"Since we began implementing our expansion strategy, we have seen positive results of providing customized and specialized services, reflected by positive customer satisfaction, as they are able to fulfil their banking and financial needs in a speedy and efficient way," Al-Awadallah said.
