ABN Amro Clearing has said that it is the first General Clearing Member (GCM) on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) accredited as a Vendor Access Network (VAN) provider.

Operated out of two London based state of the art data centers, members of the LSE can use ABN Amro Clearing’s fully resilient connectivity to the exchange in combination with pre-certified software applications (ISV’s).

Sven Diepenbach, market access business development manager at ABN AMRO Clearing, said: “Our VAN status helps our customers to reduce the spend when trading LSE. They no longer need to invest substantial money in their own specific infrastructure. Our one stop shop of hosting, clearing and execution services across multiple equity and derivatives exchanges have created a very efficient model for our clients.”

ABN Amro Clearing Bank (AACB), a third-party independent clearer, offers market access services ranging from access via ISV’s own trading applications to proximity and colocation hosting services.
